How do our daily choices affect our environment? In what ways can we make a positive difference in the world? Students will examine the current causes of our Earth's destruction and what we can do, as individuals and collectively.

Life in the Wild

This program explores the complex lives of elephants, orcas, and other animals in their natural habitats, and asks students to consider the feasibility of fulfilling their emotional, familial, and social needs in captivity.

Ad Nauseum

|
By examining the messages of advertisements and studying the relationship between consumerism and the environment, students learn to look critically at ads and are empowered to become responsible and compassionate consumers.

Caring for Our Best Friends
|
|
|
Students will learn what is involved in properly caring for dogs, cats, and other animal companions. Discussion will also include how to help prevent shelter euthanasia of healthy animals by rescuing or adopting and spaying or neutering.

Getting Active for Animals and the Environment

Especially for animal and environmental clubs, this presentation will highlight actions supportive groups and individuals can take to help address the issues facing animals and the environment, as well as career choices that benefit animals and the environment.
